Rates & Reservations Welcome to the Garden View in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Please do call or email so that we may assist in planning your stay.


NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING DEPOSIT: $35.
As of May 1, 2010 the non-refundable deposit will be $40 per room booked. If one person books more than one room the charge will be based on the number of rooms booked for yourself or your party (for example, $40 for 1 room, $80 for 2 rooms & $120 for all three rooms).This deposit will be deducted from your final bill.

We accept VISA , Master Card and debit cards for securing a reservation.
Three days notice from May 1 - Oct 20 (four days from Oct. 21 to April 30) is required to cancel without penalty. Cancellations after this time will be subject to a room charge unless we are able to re-book.
As of May 1, 2010 we now require a non-refundable deposit of 25% for stays over a week.

PARKING: There is a $10 charge, per stay, for a parking pass for Monday to Friday stays. No charge for week-end stays from April 1- Oct 31. For guests who do not require parking there is no charge.

All rates are in Canadian dollars and include a full breakfast for two. A charge of $20 ($10 from Oct 21-April 30) is applied for an extra bed or an extra person in the Rose and Arbor Rooms. The Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13% is added on to all rates. Children under one stay free in the parents room (a pac and play bed and highchair are available).

We are pleased to offer a 5% discount for stays of 4 or more days, with payment by cash, debit or traveler’s cheque. Please contact us to discuss our special off-season weekly rates and our off-season 10% discount for students and guests joining us due to a medical appointment.

2011 CANADA WINTER GAMES February 11-27. We welcome guests for this special event. Rates will be the same as our mid-season rates, $85 plus tax, for the Rose and Arbor and $95 for the Garden.

We encourage business travelers to Nova Scotia to consider the Garden View. We are open all year around for your traveling convenience.
